In and across the motley practices and studies of affect, how might we continue to make space for undercommon currents and insurgent worldings? I co-organized the Capacious: Affect Inquiry/Making Space conference with over two hundred papers (across more than forty panels), dozens of participatory installations and workshops, and keynote speakers that included Zakiyyah Iman Jackson, Dana Luciano, and Michelle Wright. We screened Fabrizio Terranova’s Donna Haraway: Story Telling for Earthly Survival, courtesy of the Digital Writing & Research Lab at UT Austin. I designed the conference website, program, and on-stage visuals.
